Our 2026 Celebrant, Most Rev. Keith J. Chylinski

A native of Schenectady, New York, Bishop Keith J. Chylinski is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Music Degree, earned in 2000. Deciding to become a priest, he entered St. Charles Borromeo Seminary and was awarded a Master of Divinity degree in 2006 and a Master of Arts degree in 2007, the same year in which he was ordained to the Priesthood.

After ordination, Bishop Chylinski served as a Parochial Vicar at St. Anselm Church in Philadelphia and Mary Mother of the Redeemer in North Wales. He then went to Arlington, Virginia to earn a Master’s of Science degree at the Institute of Psychological Sciences at Divine Mercy University. On his return, the archdiocese placed him on the faculty at St. Charles Seminary. Eventually, he was named the school’s Rector.

Before being named a bishop by Pope Francis in 2024, Bishop Chylinski served on the Archdiocesan Council of Priests, the Archbishop’s Council on Racial Healing, and was the National Chaplain of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association.
